This notice covers browser storage, cookieless measurement, email pixels and tracked links, and optional third-party embeds. Necessary storage supports login and security. Optional embeds are gated behind a user action where implemented.

1. Browser technologies

2. Email opens, clicks and delivery

Delivery events help organisers see whether invitations and reminders reached voters. Where open or click measurement is used, SimpleVote keeps only short-lived aggregate counts by election and email type - not named-voter or per-recipient reading history. Opens are approximate. Organisers should complete any PECR and transparency assessment before relying on engagement measurement. Blocking remote images or not following tracked links can limit measurement; delivery and suppression records still operate.

3. Optional third parties

  • YouTube: a video player can send device, request and usage data to Google/YouTube after you choose to load it.
  • TidyCal: the booking widget can set or read storage and receive request data after you choose to load it.
  • Stripe: checkout is opened when a customer chooses a paid transaction and is governed by Stripe's notices.
  • Customer fonts: a customer-configured remote font may cause the browser to contact its host on a branded page.

4. Your choices

Browser controls can delete or block cookies, but blocking necessary authentication storage prevents dashboard sign-in. Do not activate an optional embed if you do not want to contact that provider. Where an optional provider has loaded, use its controls and clear its site storage as appropriate.
